We’re in the process of moving homes, so posting will be irregular over the next few days. Sorry, but when there are boxes stacked up all over the place, that takes precedence over writing a review.
We were in the West Village for a long time, but it’s gotten way too crowded and hoity-toity over the past few years for us regular folks. When bankers outnumber artists in the Village, it’s time to leave.
Our new home is in Harlem, which is going through a bit of a renaissance of its own. We got a lot more space for the same money, including a backyard. You know what that means – BBQ!
There’s not a lot in the way of street food in Harlem, but if you have any tips, let us know. A few vendors come up to Columbia and lower FDB, and one or two parked by La Marqueta when the weather was nicer. Hopefully this will continue, and even grow, in the spring.
We still work in midtown, and have some trips coming up in the New Year, so once we’re settled, it will be back to business as usual.
