We don’t know if you’ve been watching The Great Food Truck Race, which airs Sundays at 9pm on The Food Network – but you can help your favorite food truck appear on the next season of the show – and help them win $10,000 at the same time.
All you have to do is go here, register, and vote for one of the trucks listed or write in your own candidate (oops, truck nominations ended 8/22). Easy as pie. Several trucks will be picked for the next season of the show, and the truck with the most votes wins $10,000!
The NYC trucks listed are Bistro Truck, Big Gay Ice Cream Truck, Mexicue, Eddie’s Pizza Truck, Treats Truck, NYC Cravings, El Diablo, and Calexico (which is not actually a truck). Cupcake Stop, which has NYC trucks, is actually listed in NJ if you want to vote for them.
You can vote up to 10 times a day, and can split your votes among different trucks or give them all to 1 truck. Every entry also enters you for a chance to win a trip to the NYC Food & Wine Festival. Voting ends on Sept 10th at midnight.

In our opinion, the Nom Nom Truck has been kicking butt because of their superior preparation before getting into a new town. They seem to have everything scouted out, and pair up with a local establishment, which helps immensely. Spencer on the Go is also catching on by calling ahead to French restaurants and getting their food supplies faster and cheaper than everyone else. Let’s see what New Orleans has in store for everyone next week.
