We love reading through the Mobile Munchies twitter feed because you never know what new things you’re going to find.  That was true again recently when the Cruisin’ Kitchen tweeted about their new Pastrami Balls.

Being lifelong New Yorkers (and regular visitors to Katz’s Deli for their pastrami), we had to check out these pastrami balls, which cost $7.

I also got a taste of another new meatball, but you’re going to have to read through to the end to find out about that one.  Hint: It was spicy!

Street Eats: Asian Meatballs from Marky Ramone’s Cruisin’ Kitchen

May 9th, 2012

We first tried Marky Ramone’s Cruisin’ Kitchen two weeks ago, when we had the classic Italian meatballs with Marky’s own marinara sauce.

The Asian meatballs looked really good too, so it was easy to choose what to order for our 2nd look.

NYSF FIRST LOOK: MARKY RAMONE’S CRUISIN’ KITCHEN

April 27th, 2012

Yesterday we told you about a new food truck in NYC called Marky Ramone’s Cruisin’ Kitchen.  They serve 4 different types of meatballs, and we had a chance to stop by yesterday on 24th St & 5th Ave during their first day of operation in the city.

For our first visit to the truck, we had to try the Italian meatballs because Marky Ramone has his own marinara sauce available online and at 10 different stores in the tri-state area.  They also sell it at the truck for $7 a jar.

You can get any of the 4 types of meatballs on a roll or “in a boat” for $7.  We decided to get the Italian meatballs on a ciabatta roll.
