sami cart

I received an email last night from Velu Sami of the Sami Dosa cart, which we’ve tried twice and wrote about here. For everyone wondering why the Sami Dosa cart isn’t on Broadway across from Letterman anymore, he wanted to let me know that the cart has moved to 39th & Broadway. He asked if I could tell my readers about this change.

Consider it done.

If you haven’t tried Sami Dosa, we recommend it. Velu Sami is from South India and cooks food from that region such as dosas, uttapam and biryani. He is also a really nice guy who just wants to share his cooking with everyone.

  1. First time visiting the cart @ 39 street & bway and had a very bad experience. Waited over 1/2 for them to get ready. apparently they were having some problems with the heating. Guy handle my food like crap and literally threw the bag at me. Don\\\’t expect someone to return if you will treat them like that and over all, my onion chilly dosa that i ordered was not spicy at all. the potatoes were one side and the crepe was one side…it was all falling apart when he put it in the foam container. I paid money for it and i expect something good. Very disapointed.

  2. Very nice food in sami dosa cart.I ate one day The rice was a yellow rice that was cooked well. It was still moist and plump, and was one of the better rices around. The salad was very basic and not noteworthy.and dosa also very tasty.

  3. I’m no longer sure the place you’re getting your information, but great topic. I must spend some time finding out more or working out more. Thank you for fantastic information I was in search of this info for my mission.
