There are many signs of spring: the singing robins, the reappearance of food trucks that hibernated for the winter, and food festivals galore!
NY Magazine had a nice rundown in this week’s issue of the various food festivals and markets opening soon.
There’s Brooklyn Flea, Smorgasburg and DeKalb Market, who are all opening this weekend (4/7).
Later on you have the Red Hook Ballfields (with Vendy Cup Winner Solber Pupusas), Hester St Fair and the New Amsterdam Market, all opening the weekend of 4/28-29.
Just before the official start of summer is Rockaway Taco (5/19) and Brooklyn Bridge Park (5/26, but without Calexico Carne Asada this year).
