Thousands of you pastry-prowling runners have already rushed the gates (virtually speaking, of course) for the first-ever NYC Bakery Run. Since sign-ups dropped, a whopping 5,136 of you have thrown your names into the lottery, proving that New Yorkers know a good thing when they see (and taste) it. Forget your average, boring half-marathon; this is a gastronomical gauntlet, a carb-fueled quest, and quite possibly the most delicious way to get your steps in.

The NYC Bakery Run is a celebration of the city’s booming bakery scene, where a new generation of dough-slinging geniuses is turning flour and butter into pure magic. And 100 lucky lottery winners are about to experience it first-hand.
Imagine a route dotted with edible treasures: spiced cardamom buns, rich, buttery croissants, and vibrant fruit-filled danishes from places like Radio Bakery, Librae Bakery, La Cabra, L’Appartement 4F, Elbow Bread, Gem Home, Raf’s, and La Bicyclette.
