We had a party last night to watch the final show of “Lost” and everyone came as a different character from the show. The menu was Hawaiian roast pork loin (killed courtesy of John Locke), mango & papaya salsa, pineapple fried rice and a Lost-themed chocolate cake for dessert.
Below from left are Michael, Kate, Bernard & Rose (who are married in real life), Sayid, Richard Alpert, Sun and Claire (although you can’t see her belly in this picture).
As people walked in, they were given leis and handed either a Blue Hawaiian, Dharma Initiative beer or Dharma Initiative soda (regular cola or clear cola).
The food was delicious, especially the roast pork with pineapple and maraschino cherries and the “Lost”-themed chocolate cake.
We even had a visit from the smoke monster. Scary stuff!!!
A fun time was had by all. While we are sad to see the end of “Lost”, we are happy to leave the metaphysical musings to someone else. Give us some Dharma beer and “Lost” cake and we’re happy campers.
