The Gap has partnered with Katie Lee Kitchen on a vintage taco truck that will be driving around NYC until Sept 30th. (They have trucks in LA, SF and Chicago too.)
You can get 2 tacos, a drink and $20 off 1969 denim, all for $1.69. That sounds like a pretty good deal, although we’re getting a little tired of giant corporations co-opting the food truck scene. Maybe their tagline should be “At Least We’re Not Applebees“.
That doesn’t seem to stop most people. The truck opened last night at the Pier at Riverside Park for movie night, and the line was reportedly 60 people long.
We will temporarily add Pico de Gap to our Mobile Munchies twitter feed, or you can follow them yourself on twitter here.
According to their twitter, Pico de Gap will be at Varick and Vandam at 11am today.
