  • To poach salmon, simmer for 10 minutes maximum.

The easiest way to cook salmon is by baking. Try these two recipes to experience a salmon-like restaurant style.

Baked Salmon  

 Ingredients: 

  • Cooking spray
  • 2 sliced lemons.
  • 1 large salmon filet.
  • Kosher salt to taste.
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste.
  • 6 tablespoons of melted butter.
  • 2 tablespoons of honey.
  • 3 minced cloves of garlic.
  • 1 teaspoon of chopped thyme leaves.
  • 1 teaspoon of dried oregano.
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish.

 Preparation: 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°.
  2. On a baking sheet, place a piece of foil and grease with cooking spray.
  3. Place lemon slices in the center of a baking sheet. Set aside.
  4. Add kosher salt and ground black pepper to salmon.
  5. Combine in a bowl melted butter, honey, garlic, thyme, and oregano.
  6. Add this mixture to the salmon.
  7. Place salmon over the lemon slices.
  8. Bake for 25 minutes.
  9. Then broil in the oven for 2 minutes.
  10. Serve with parsley at the top.

Here’s an easy baked salmon recipe:

Baked Pineapple Salmon  

 Ingredients: 

  • Cooking spray.
  • 1 large salmon filet.
  • 3 to 6 pineapple rings, depending on the filet size.
  • Kosher salt to taste.
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste.
  • 2 teaspoons of toasted sesame oil.
  • 3 tablespoons of melted butter.
  • 2 tablespoons of chopped cilantro.
  • 3 tablespoons of sweet chili sauce.
  • 3 minced cloves garlic.
  • 2 teaspoons of grated ginger.
  • ½ teaspoon of crushed red pepper flakes.
  • Toasted sesame seeds for garnish.
  • Sliced green onions for garnish.
  • Lime wedges for serving.

 Preparation: 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. Put a piece of foil on a baking sheet. Then, grease it with cooking spray.
  3. Place the pineapple rings in the center of the baking sheet.
  4. Season salmon with salt and pepper and put it over the pineapple rings.
  5. Whisk in a small bowl sesame oil, butter, cilantro, chili sauce, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes.
  6. Pour this mixture over the salmon with a brush.
  7. Bake for 25 minutes and then broil for 2 minutes.
  8. Serve with sesame seeds, green onions, and lime wedges at the top.
