The 1st Jersey Shore Food Truck Wars took place over the holiday weekend in Monmouth Park, with 18 food trucks from the Northeast participating. The event drew thousands of hungry food truck followers, with long lines all around.
There were food trucks from Philly, NJ and more, but two food trucks from NYC took top honors. Red Hook Lobster Pound won 1st Prize and Wafels & Dinges won the People’s Choice Award for Best Truck and the Cutting Edge Cuisine Award from the judges.
Even more importantly, thousands of people got to enjoy delicious food served by food trucks from all over the region. Lines were long, but people seemed to be having a good time.
