THIRD ROUND OF PARTICIPANTS FOR THE FOURTH ANNUAL
“CHOICE STREETS” FOOD TRUCK EVENT

The Village Voice announces its third round of participants for the fourth annual Choice Streets food truck event on Tuesday, May 5th (Raindate: Friday, May 8th). The new participants announced today include: Domo Taco, Gorilla Cheese, Ponti Rossi and The Treats Truck for a total of 12 trucks to date.

 

These food trucks will join the previously announced participants: Big D’s Grub, Korilla BBQ, Langos Truck, Snowday, Solber Pupusas, Sweet Chili, Valducci’s Pizza, Yankee Doodle Dandy’s and many more to be announced.

 

The event will feature an array of 20+ handpicked food trucks from all five New York City boroughs, and will take place from 7:00PM – 11:00PM at The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum on Pier 86.

 

This year’s Choice Streets will feature three tiers of ticket options – the VIP ticket ($85) will allow guests a full VIP Hour beginning at7:00pm plus a gift bag, the Early Entry ticket ($65) will allow guests entry into the event at 7:30pm for a half hour preview and the General Admission ticket ($55) will allow guests in at 8:00pm. Set amid the backdrop of the New York Landmark, The Intrepid, attendees will feast on Pier 86 and enjoy an evening of fabulous food, complimentary drinks, free tours of the Intrepid ship and an amazing view of New York City. In celebration of Cinco de Mayo, attendees will be able to enjoy live music from Mariachi Flor de Toloache – New York City’s first and only established all-female mariachi band – along with other festive surprises.
All guests will be presented with an exclusive tasting passport to gain access to over 20 of the city’s favorite and highly sought-after food trucks. The Choice Streets passport will allow guests one (1) sample* from each food truck and will be stamped as they sample at each truck. Alcoholic beverages will be unlimited for all guests (all guests must be 21+).
Choice Streets will be accepting volunteer applications until April 24th to assist The Village Voice team on-site at the event. All volunteers will receive a free general admission ticket to The Village Voice’s 5th annual Brooklyn Pour Craft Beer Festival onSeptember 26th. This year, the Village Voice will be teaming up with the non-profit organization Slow Food NYC as the charitable partner of Choice Streets, with whom a portion of the proceeds will be shared.
