It may not be the nicest day out, but there are still plenty of great New York Street Food options available.

If you’re a vegetarian, or just like free food, the Green Truck will be driving around town giving out free Mother Truckers (their veggie burgers) courtesy of NBC, as part of NBC’s 4th Annual Green Week initiative.  We had a Mother Trucker at the NYC Food Film Festival and enjoyed it.  Follow them on twitter here or on our Mobile Munchies twitter feed.  First stop today will likely be the Union Square area.

As always, make sure to check the pink Mobile Munchies twitter feed for the most up-to-date information. You never know when someone will have to move at the last minute (like Korilla BBQ, who had to move 3 times yesterday before finding a good spot).
