Lonely Planet surveyed travel experts from all over the world and asked them: “What is your favourite city to gorge yourself with food?” In joint first place were New York and Singapore, reflecting the diversity of food offerings in each city. The fact that visitors can try everything from excellent street food to world-class fine dining resulted in the top shared honor for New York and Singapore.
