A sunny, cold day today, but there’s plenty of great New York Street Food to warm you up.

Today is also the last day for Bistro Truck at Da Nest until the spring, and Monday is his last day serving until spring 🙁  Yassir told us he is going back to Morocco for a couple of months, and will be fixing up the truck and changing around a few things when he gets back.

Some of the vendors are starting to have soup (Red Hook Lobster, La Bella Torte), and there’s nothing like schnitzel to fortify you in the cold weather.

This weekend is also the last Hester St Fair of the season on Saturday, and the last Red Hook Ball Fields Vendors weekend, with their 1st Annual Halloween Costume Contest on Sunday.

As always, check the Mobile Munchies twitter feed before heading out, in case anyone had to move at the last minute.
