We’ve told you many times that owning a food truck is a very difficult business. Just because you can cook really well doesn’t mean you can have a successful food truck.

Even people who have turned their food truck into a successful enterprise have given up the street life for a brick and mortar restaurant (such as Bistro Truck→Rustic LES)

We created a new section in the New York Street Food directory called Food Truck R.I.P. It’s on the home page, underneath the Honorary Street Food section.

Please remember, just because a food truck lies in the Food Truck Graveyard, it doesn’t mean it was not successful. Some owners went on to open restaurants, and other are still working in the food industry in another capacity.

Let us know in the comments which food trucks you miss the most, and alternatively, which ones you think are rightfully in the Food Truck Graveyard.

In addition, if there is anyone we missed, or included by mistake, please let us know that too.
