The big news of the day is the 5,000 FREE lunches being given away at 10 of the top New York food trucks, courtesy of MasterCard. If this is the first you’re hearing of it, additional details are here. The promotion starts at 11am, and each truck has 500 FREE meals, so get out there as soon as you can.
Sweetery NYC is also giving away hundreds of FREE bags of coffee beans from their roaster, Coffee Labs Roasters. They will be on Hudson & King until 3:30, and the free coffee beans are available until supplies run out.
Despite the rain, there are plenty of other options to enjoy great New York Street Food from the vendors on the right and the trucks below. However, the LIC Food Truck Lot is closed today because of the weather.
