There is so much more to New York Street Food than hot dogs and pretzels. The quality and variety of street food sold here has increased enormously in the past few years.
On the streets of New York, you can now get jerk chicken, dumplings, kati rolls, bulgogi, falafel, souvlaki, schnitzel, cous cous, cupcakes, waffles, fancy burgers, cheese steaks, Mexican and Korean tacos, and lots more.
With over 3,000 street vendors in New York and food stands on nearly every corner of midtown, it’s helpful to have someone knowledgeable to show you which vendors serve the best food.
New York Street Food has eaten over 400 street food meals in New York, plus countless desserts. We would love to share some of our favorite New York Street Food vendors with you – and tell you about many more that you can try on your own!
Join us for a walking tour of some of the best street food vendors in midtown Manhattan, including current and past Vendy Award Winners and Finalists. Of course, we will sample their wares along the way.
Length of tour: Approximately 1½ -2 hours.
Admission: Tickets are $40 per person. Advance purchase is required. Ticket price includes at least 5 different food tastings, a local map, a bottle of water, and your knowledgeable tour guide.
Schedule: The New York Street Food Walking Tour will only be available on Friday afternoons from Memorial Day (May 27th) through Labor Day (September 2nd). The tour starts at 2:15pm in midtown Manhattan, and will be limited to 10 people per tour. This limited schedule means there will only be 15 New York Street Food Walking Tours given this summer.

The Menu: The menu may change from tour to tour. Street food vendors are mobile, and some move locations every day, especially food trucks. We will offer the best available street food vendors on that day in a 20-25 block area.
A wide variety of street food will be on the menu, and may include jerk chicken, falafel, chicken over rice, tacos, kati rolls, bulgogi, waffles and fresh baked cookies or brownies. Please note that some of the food samples may be spicy.
Weather: The New York Street Food Walking Tour is rain or shine.
Refunds: No refunds will be issued for events beyond our control. Refunds will only be issued if New York Street Food cancels a tour.
Accessibility: The New York Street Food Walking Tour is fully accessible for individuals and groups who use wheelchairs.
