It was a crappy day, so I decided to brighten things up with a spicy harissa falafel from Taim Mobile.
Every meal I’ve had from Taim Mobile has been from very good to excellent, and Today’s Lunch, a spicy harissa falafel, sounded like it would be towards the excellent side.
As usual, the fluffy, soft pita was jam-packed with food. I didn’t count the exact number of falafel balls, but take my word for it, there were more than enough.
The harissa falafel was red inside as opposed to the deep green falafel they usually have. I wouldn’t say it was overly spicy, but it was vibrant and tasty. If you want spicy, put some hot sauce on. Taim’s hot sauce is very spicy.
In addition to the harissa falafel, there was a creamy tahini sauce, pickled cabbage, Israeli salad (cucumbers & tomatoes) and fresh Italian parsley.
As I got to the bottom of the sandwich, there was still plenty of falafel to eat, which is always nice.
Today’s Lunch of harissa falafel from Taim Mobile was another winner. It wasn’t my favorite Taim sandwich so far – that honor goes to the sabich – but the harissa falafel was definitely my second favorite sandwich at Taim Mobile.
