FOOD TRUCK DESIGNS ACROSS AMERICA ARE AS AMAZING AS THE FOOD

Dim and Den Sum – Cleveland

One of the more surprising aspects of the rise of street food in the US is that the designs of the trucks, carts and trailers have kept pace with the food.

From the Magic School Bus styling of the Grilled Cheese Truck in Los Angeles…

to the Incredible Flying Soup Mobile in Atlanta…

to Sugar Truck Philly…to our favorite metallic pig with shades – Maximus Minimus in Seattle – the designs are as innovative as the cuisine.

Metromix St. Louis has a slideshow with 82 of the best.  If you have a few minutes, it’s worth checking out.

There are sample tweets from each the trucks as well, with such gems as “okie dokie time to make the pie.  Still feel like a mack truck ran me over and backed up a few times but pie doesn’t wait” from the Cutie Pie Wagon in Austin.

I tried to highlight some interesting food truck designs outside New York because most of us are familiar with the great designs of Wafels & Dinges, NYC Cravings and some of the other New York food trucks included in the slideshow.
