LOWER FEAST SIDE FOOD FESTIVAL SET FOR TOMORROW (SAT)

The Hester St. Fair kicks off its season on Saturday, May 7th – and the Lower Feast Side Food Festival is a big part of it.

It’s part of the New Museum’s Festival of Ideas going on downtown all weekend.  Half of the market will be devoted to food, and the other half will be filled with a shopper’s paradise.  Over 60 food and goods vendors will be there for opening day!  Click through for the list of participants.


WHEN: Opening Day—Saturday, May 7, 2011 from 10am-6pm.  The Hester Street Fair is open ONLY SATURDAYS, and as always, FREE TO THE PUBLIC.

WHERE: The Hester Street Fair located on the corner of Hester and Essex Streets. F, J, M, Z stops to Delancey and East Broadway.
