From NBC Bay Area:  A mishap involving a bread cart from Boudin Bakery was a chief factor in an elderly San Bruno woman’s death, according to a lawsuit filed by the woman’s family.

Sonia Galan, 71, slid into bad health and eventually, death, after she was knocked down by a Boudin bread cart at San Francisco International Airport on April 3, 2010, according to the San Jose Mercury News.

The collision broke Galan’s shoulder, according to a lawsuit filed against San Francisco, the entity that manages the airport, and Boudin Bakery, whose unnamed employee was pushing the cart.

Galan was working as a security guard at the airport when the bread cart hit her at 3:40 a.m., the newspaper said. Afterwards, her health steadily deteriorated and she died on Dec. 10, the lawsuit says. [NBC Bay Area]

On second thought, maybe we shouldn’t be joking about this.  It seemed funny last night, but now it doesn’t.  What do you think?
