Hope everyone came through the storm ok. We live in the West Village, and haven’t had power since Monday night at 8:30pm. They’re talking 4-6 days before we have power back. Wow!
Lots of Scrabble by candlelight so far. Luckily we have a gas stove, and have been cooking up the contents of our freezer meal by meal.
Our office in midtown is open this morning and functioning, so it’s is the first time we’ve been able to catch up. We are also juicing up our computer and phone, which both died some time Tuesday.
It looks like a bunch of the street vendors will be open in midtown, but downtown is still without power.
We’ll do a Mobile Munchies post in a little while with the vendors that are open and tweeting.
