We’ve often relied on Burger Beast for info on the latest and greatest burger-related food trucks in Miami and South Florida.  They clued us in on the Grill Master Cafe, Mamita Linda and Ms. Cheezious, among others.

So it was natural when Coolhaus expanded to Miami, they would hook up with Burger Beast, a local legend.  Coolhaus and BB teamed up to create a new ice cream sandwich that best represented the Burger Beast aesthetic.

If you’re familiar with the history of Coolhaus, you’ll know they started in L.A., expanded to Austin, then came to New York in the spring of this year.  As a consequence, this will be the first winter that Coolhaus has ever had to experience.

It doesn’t take a rocket surgeon to know ice cream trucks don’t sell much ice cream during winters in the Northeast.  But hot chocolate and whipped cream is a great idea for the winter, unless you’re talking about McDonalds mint mocha, that is. (more…)

A few days ago, Coolhaus announced they will be going out on the University Fall ’11 Tour, bringing their amazing ice cream sandwiches to colleges in the Tri-State area.

Now comes word that Korilla BBQ will be joining Coolhaus on the University Fall ’11 Tour.

Now you will be able to enjoy spicy, mouth-watering Korilla BBQ tacos and burritos, then cool down with a refreshing Coolhaus ice cream sandwich for dessert!
