Belmont Park Food Truck Festival Debuts This Weekend

if you’re looking for something new to do this weekend, and still want to enjoy great food trucks, Belmont Park is hosting the inaugural Belmont Food Truck Festival on Saturday, May 25th.

8 of NYC’s best food trucks will be in the Belmont Park backyard from 11 am until post time for the last race, which is scheduled for 5:49 pm. General admission into Belmont Park is $3 and general parking is free.

Admission grants you full access to all of the food trucks, with food and drink being pay-as-you-go.

We had to go up to Boston this weekend for our son’s graduation, so we asked one of our regular readers to cover the Great Googa Mooga for us. After last year’s fiasco, we weren’t sure what to expect, but Joe B, a Brit currently living and working in NYC, seemed to have a good time.

Chelsea Triangle French Market Is Back On Friday (5/10)

Last year we told you about the Chelsea Triangle French Market that had opened in the Meatpacking District. There were a number of interesting vendors at the market, many with a French theme.

9 of the best food trucks in NYC and 9 from Boston will be competing in a number of different categories.

The big winner last time was Wafels & Dinges, who won in 3 different categories. Boston was just itching for a rematch.
