Part II of Lobster Roll Week kicks off today with the Red Hook Lobster Truck debuting their new truck, dubbed Big Red by their contest winner, Dan Hosoya.
Susan tells us the truck will be around 26th St & Park Ave on Thurs and Hudson & King on Fri. They hope to be in place and serving by 11am, so get there early to avoid long lines.
We would also recommend checking their twitter account here before heading over, just to be sure. You never know when a parking spot will be unavailable because of a movie shoot, an emergency, or if the police decide to hassle a truck.
We haven’t tried a lobster roll yet, but we had a shrimp roll from Red Hook Lobster Pound at Choice Eats, and it was amazing!
